MEET KEN
Instructor. eLearning Creator. Guide.
Hello there!
I’m an instructional designer that creates learning experiences for amazing companies. My work is focused on transforming complex concepts and procedures into easy-to-digest material that anyone can grasp. I’m delighted to apply the experience and skills I’ve gathered in my career as a outdoor trainer, outpost manager, and eLearning expert in order to spearhead accessible learning. I love writing and can thrive independently, remotely, as well as in a team setting.

Whether it's been on a boat, a pair of skis, or a computer, I've had the privilege to work with some of the greatest teams on Earth. My teachings have ranged from safeguarding data to how one might secure their boat to a sturdy tree.
Regardless of the topic, my philosophy has always been the same - make the experience human centric. Focus on the learners' emotions, motivations, and aim to make learning engaging, meaningful, and relevant. That's how you make things happen.
My first eLearning job was for a small outdoor company, and involved building a training program from the ground up.

INSTRUCTION
Whether I'm creating interactive online courses, in-person workshops, or SOPs, explaining complex concepts simply has been central to my success.

CREATIVITY
Writing and design are my passion. As a son of two chefs, a brother to a painter and a videogame developer, I'm always looking for creative outlets in my work and personal life.

TECHNOLOGY
I regularly use Articulate Storyline, Rise, Camtasia, Premiere, Captivate, Photoshop, FCPX, Canva, and several AI applications. The number of tools in my belt are ever-growing, and I love applying new software!

MANAGEMENT
As an operations manager and fully remote worker, prioritizing projects, resources, and managing up has allowed me to become dependably autonomous.
